Easy DCC

 

Basic Starter System [EDSA] is designed for small, first-time layout owners with plans for later expansion. If you don't have a power supply for the Booster, consider adding a low cost PS5.

With this system, you get two fixed throttles built into the panel mounted Command Station plus a booster for driving the track. Behind the distinctive front panel is a full-featured Command Station plus a separate programming track output, a free RS232 computer port, plus outputs for booster connections. You can add plug-in or wireless throttles at any time.

 

Wireless Starter System [WEDSA] is CVP's award winning wireless DCC system that was voted by the readers of Model Railroader Magazine as the most innovative product for 1999. A wireless throttle means there are no cords, no cables, no throttle buses, and no fascia plates. You can stay with your train at all times. No need to search for a place to plug in your throttle. And the Wireless Throttle is easy to use. You can hand this throttle to a guest and within 5 seconds, they can be running a train.

The Wireless Throttle System adds a wireless receiver and wireless throttle to our basic starter system. The wireless basestation supports up to eight more wireless throttles. Plug-in throttles can also be used along with the wireless throttles. This is our most popular starter system with an unbeatable list of features.

 

Plug-In Throttle Starter System [EDXSA] adds the plug-in throttle to the Basic Starter System. The plug-in throttle is an economical and easy to use throttle. It features a large knob and a full set of function keys. Accessory decoders can be controlled from the throttle too. If your layout features lots of industry switching or extensive main line operation, the plug-in throttle is the least expensive way to stay with your train.

The battery-free plug-in throttle uses a rugged two-conductor 1/4" headphone plug attached to a convenient coiled cable. It is easy to learn and simple to use. The plug-in throttles all plug into CVP's unique 2-wire throttle bus.

The throttle bus uses inexpensive TV-coax cable plus twist-on connectors to make installation a breeze. Fascia plate kits provide convenient places to plug throttles in.

 

Large Scale Options: If your layout is O or LGB, there are several important options to consider when ordering a starter system. For example, the Booster-10 may be needed to handle the higher motor currents and longer track runs. Or you may wish to use a higher voltage transformer for the Booster-10 to provide a higher track voltage needed by LGB locomotives. Rest your mouse over the "Boosters" button at the top left and choose "B10" to view details on the high power Booster-10.

 

Which Locomotive Decoder? Any DCC decoder may be used with EASYDCC. Select decoders based on your budget, type of locomotives and desired features.
